The 17th edition of the Headies, the prestigious Afrobeats music awards, will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Lagos.
Originally scheduled for last year, the event will now take place earlier in 2025, with the next edition planned for December. The list of nominees will be announced on February 12.
The festivities will kick off on March 29 with The Headies Stakeholders Brunch and Nominees’ Party, followed by a week of events celebrating the growth and creativity of Nigeria’s music industry.
Additionally, the Headies Creative Summit will be held on April 3rd and 4th, bringing together industry leaders and innovators for a two-day conference aimed at shaping the future of the music industry.
