In a statement signed by National Coordinator Teddy Onyejuwe, the group dismissed Omokri’s accusations, asserting that there is no record of any allegations against him by Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The group also accused Omokri of orchestrating a smear campaign, including encouraging mass reports on the Senator’s Facebook account, leading to content removal. They further rejected claims linking her to a N500 million transfer from Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
“This is not just an attack on a woman,” the group stated, “but an attack on truth, decency, and justice.” They warned against targeted misinformation and gender-based political attacks.
