By The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially approved the report of the party’s governorship primary election in Anambra State.
The chairman of the Primary Election Committee and Governor of Cross River State, Bassey Otu, declared Nicholas Ukachukwu the winner after securing 1,455 votes.
During the NWC meeting on Wednesday, APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, praised Otu and his team for conducting what he described as a fair, credible, and transparent election.
Following the adoption of the report, Ganduje presented the APC Certificate of Return to Ukachukwu, solidifying his position as the party’s flag bearer for the upcoming election.
He urged all stakeholders, including other aspirants and their supporters, to unite and work towards ensuring the party’s success in the November 8, 2025, gubernatorial election.
With the primaries concluded, APC now shifts its focus to the main election, where Ukachukwu will contest against candidates from other parties.
