Alhaji Isa Sani Omolori, has advised ex-Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello to ignore those trying to stir division within Kogi Central. In a strongly worded letter, Omolori described the recent failed attempt to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as a “dangerous manoeuvre” that could destabilize the region.
Omolori lauded Senator Natasha’s performance, calling her a “true representative” and “symbol of hope for women.” He emphasized her national recognition and praised her rise as “a divine blessing” that many admire and respect. “Her performance echoes across the country,” he wrote.
Addressing Bello directly, Omolori acknowledged his historical significance in breaking a decades-long power imbalance and championing inclusive governance. “Your success was not yours alone. It was ours,” he stated, applauding Bello’s commitment to power rotation and unity in the state.
He further praised Bello’s decision to support Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing the current leader as a reflection of Bello’s vision. “He is an exemplary gentleman whose heart is fully aligned with the needs of our people,” Omolori wrote.
According to him, preserving peace and progress requires maturity and tolerance. “The ability to embrace both allies and critics is a hallmark of exceptional leadership,” he added, urging Bello to rise above divisive tactics.
Omolori warned that continued attacks on Senator Natasha could backfire politically, affecting all parties. “If these elements are not curbed in time, their negativity could impact all political parties and result in resounding failure on your path,” he cautioned.
