By The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has praised Globacom and its chairman, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., for consistently supporting Nigerians through various empowerment initiatives.
Represented by the Dan Amar of Kano, Alhaji Aliu Harazimi, the Emir made this statement during an event in Kano where a brand-new car was presented to Anas Yusuf Adamu, a local businessman, as part of Glo’s Festival of Joy promotion.
“Globacom’s efforts to reward its loyal customers in Kano and across Nigeria are truly commendable. This is a great example for other companies to follow,” the Emir said.
The Kano State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Adamu Fanda, also praised Glo for its dedication to improving the lives of its customers. “Globacom has shown what it means to be a responsible company. Their commitment to their customers is remarkable,” he said, urging the company to continue its good work.
Regulatory agencies, including the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), commended Glo for conducting the promo transparently and following all guidelines.
Anas Yusuf Adamu, the car winner, expressed his gratitude, sharing his disbelief when he first got the call from Glo officials. “I never imagined owning a car. This gift is a blessing for me and my family,” he said with excitement.
At the event, over 60 other winners also received prizes, including power generators, sewing machines, and rechargeable fans. The Festival of Joy promotion continues to spread happiness to Glo subscribers nationwide.
