The Federal High Court in Calabar has sentenced Dr. Geraldine Orok-Ita to seven years in prison for defrauding ₦127,686,594.87.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirmed the sentence on its X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that the ruling was delivered by Justice Rosemary Oghogho-Rie after a four-year trial.
