UCH Ibadan Denies Reports of Patients Bringing Generators to Hospital

 

The management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has refuted online reports claiming that family members of patients are bringing power generators to the hospital due to poor electricity supply. In a statement signed by the hospital’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs. ‘Funmi Adetuyibi, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) described the reports as false, unfounded, and malicious.

 

The CMD dismissed the claims, stating that the allegations were fabricated and lacked credibility. “The hospital management wishes to inform the general public that these allegations are untrue. There is no truth to the report that patients or their families are bringing generators to power the wards,” the statement read.

 

The hospital reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality healthcare services and maintaining reliable facilities, urging the public to disregard the misleading reports.
