The Lagos branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has launched the Premier Bar League 2025, a football competition aimed at fostering unity and sportsmanship among legal professionals.
The tournament kicks off on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Turf Arena in Oniru Estate, Victoria Island, with lawyers set to compete in a thrilling contest that blends sports with networking.
Speaking at the draw ceremony, League Committee Chairman, Mr. Kunle Olaofe, highlighted the league’s goal of promoting interaction and teamwork within the legal community. NBA Lagos Branch Chairman, Mr. Bisi Makanjuola, represented by Mrs. Uchenna Akingbade, emphasized the importance of physical activity and solidarity among members.
The Premier Bar League 2025 will run from February 16 to April 13, 2025, featuring 16 teams—12 male and 4 female—competing under the guidance of Technical Partner, Mr. Olujimi Olujide-Poko. The male teams have been divided into two groups of six, with exciting prizes up for grabs.
With lawyers ready to showcase their skills, the tournament promises intense competition and memorable moments on the pitch.
