A tense exchange broke out between presidential media aide Daniel Bwala and Arise News anchor Rufai Oseni during a live broadcast on Tuesday.
Oseni questioned Bwala’s decision to join President Bola Tinubu’s administration despite his past criticisms of the government. Pressing him on whether his political shift was out of convenience, Oseni triggered a sharp response from Bwala, who snapped, “Don’t ask me questions like I’m a secondary school student.”
Bwala defended his position, stating that his decision was driven by a desire to contribute to national development rather than personal interest. “People evolve, perspectives change, and governance is about making an impact,” he argued.
