The Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom, Oba Frederick Obateru Akinruntan, has dismissed rumors of his death, assuring the public that he is alive and in good health.
Speaking to journalists via phone from Akure on Tuesday, the Ondo State monarch described the false reports circulating on social media as “a blessing for long life.”
His lawyer and Afenifere Secretary-General, Chief Sola Ebiseni, also confirmed the monarch’s well-being during a live telephone conference call.
