By The Managing Director of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), Dr. Olufemi Ogunyemi, has reassured operators of Free Trade Zones that the Federal Government is committed to enhancing their global competitiveness, not dismantling the scheme.
Speaking at the 3rd Nigeria Economic Zones Association meeting in Lagos on Thursday, Ogunyemi emphasized that recent policy measures aim to strengthen and expand the Free Trade Zone framework, ensuring it remains a key driver of economic growth and foreign investment.
He urged stakeholders to support government efforts to streamline regulations, improve infrastructure, and attract more investors into the zones.
