On Saturday evening, Family Worship Champions (FWC) FC clinched the men’s title after a tense 4-3 penalty shootout win over EFCC FC at the Area 3 FIFA Goal Project pitch in Abuja.
In the women’s final, Naija Ratels FC dominated N-Youth Ladies Football Academy, securing an emphatic 6-0 victory to lift the trophy. Both teams have now earned spots in the upcoming National President’s Cup.
Family Worship FC and EFCC FC will represent FCT in the men’s category, while Naija Ratels FC and N-Youth Ladies Football Academy will compete in the women’s division at the national tournament’s Round of 64.
FCT FA Chairman Alhaji Adam Mouktar praised the teams for their performances and encouraged them to maintain their momentum. He urged them to make FCT proud as they prepare to face teams from across Nigeria.
The 2025 National President’s Cup will commence soon, with FCT’s representatives aiming to showcase their strength on a bigger stage.
