Speaking at a workshop themed “Strengthening Internal Security: A Path to a Safer Nigeria,” Gaidam emphasized that inter-agency cooperation is key to addressing the country’s growing security challenges.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Police Affairs in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force and the National Central Bureau (NCB), aimed to improve strategies for tackling crime.
Gaidam acknowledged Nigeria’s long-standing struggle with criminal activities and highlighted the increasing complexity of insurgency and terrorism with international links.
He expressed confidence that insights from the workshop would provide critical solutions to strengthen internal security and protect citizens.
