By Millions of Fidelity Bank customers have been left stranded for over a week, unable to access their funds as the bank battles a prolonged system failure affecting all banking channels.
Frustrated customers flooded social media with complaints, saying they have been unable to make transfers, withdraw cash, or access their funds even inside banking halls since the system outage began.
Pulsewireng visit to some Fidelity branches confirmed that banking hall staff were equally helpless, with no ability to process transfers or dispense cash over the counter.
The bank’s ATMs also remained non-functional, leaving customers completely cut off from their own money — a situation that has sparked outrage.
One distressed customer, who chose to remain anonymous, expressed his frustration: “I can’t even pay my child’s hospital bills because I can’t access my money. How do they expect us to survive?”
As of now, Fidelity Bank has only said the disruptions are due to “ongoing system maintenance,” but customers are demanding clearer explanations and urgent solutions.
