By Engr. Seyi Makinde, has urged residents of the state to embrace peace and unity for the sake of sustained progress and development.
Makinde made the call on Monday during the 11th Omi Tuntun Annual Ramadan Public Lecture held at the Government House Arcade in Ibadan.
The governor emphasized that only through unity and harmony can Oyo State achieve meaningful growth and development across all sectors.
He also appealed to the Muslim community to continue praying for the state, noting that their spiritual support has contributed significantly to his administration’s successes.
Makinde acknowledged the strong partnership between his government and the Muslim Ummah, pledging to keep working towards policies that foster inclusivity and fairness.
The governor wrapped up his address by restating his commitment to serving all residents, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds, as he continues his drive for a more prosperous Oyo State.
