Earlier in the day, some outlets, including Pulsewireng, had wrongly reported that Parradang was trailed and attacked by suspected robbers after visiting a bank.
SP Adeh urged media organisations and the public to avoid spreading unverified information, stressing the importance of fact-checking to prevent unnecessary fear and panic.
The police assured the public that investigations into the exact circumstances surrounding Parradang’s death are ongoing.
