Arsenal Secure Champions League Quarterfinal Spot with 9-3 Aggregate Win

Arsenal progressed to the Champions League quarterfinals with a 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven, sealing a dominant 9-3 aggregate victory in their round-of-16 clash.

The Gunners were already in a commanding position after their stunning 7-1 win in the first leg, and they wasted no time asserting their dominance when Oleksandr Zinchenko fired them ahead in the 5th minute. PSV feared another heavy defeat.

However, PSV responded well, with Ivan Perisic scoring a brilliant equalizer in the 18th minute, sparking celebrations among the traveling supporters.

Before the break, Arsenal regained the lead through Declan Rice, who headed in Raheem Sterling’s cross. But PSV continued to fight, and in the 70th minute, Couhaib Driouech earned them a well-deserved equalizer with a composed chip.

Despite the draw, Arsenal’s comfortable first-leg victory ensured their place in the next round.

With an eye on the quarterfinals, the Gunners will now focus on building momentum as they prepare for tougher challenges ahead.
