Mohammed Idris described the documentary as a vital record of Nigeria’s democratic journey. The film will highlight achievements, acknowledge challenges, and offer lessons for the future.
“This documentary will serve as a lasting historical record honoring our nation’s political heroes and showcasing our democratic progress,” the minister stated. “The federal government, through the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, is willing to support this initiative.”
He commended IPAC for its dedication to strengthening democracy and emphasized the need for political parties to collaborate beyond elections to promote national unity and development. “President Bola Tinubu supports healthy political competition, as democracy thrives on constructive opposition and national interest-driven collaboration,” he added.
IPAC National Chairman, Hon. Yusuf Dantalle, said the documentary will showcase Nigeria’s progress in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social cohesion. He also noted that the film is designed to educate younger generations, particularly Gen Z, on the nation’s democratic evolution.
The documentary will feature top Nollywood actors and be produced with state-of-the-art equipment to meet global standards. IPAC executives, including Deputy National Chairman Dipo Olayokun and Council Member Chief Dan Nwayanwu, were present at the meeting.
