By Access Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment by celebrating the distinguished Power of 100 awardees. The recognition will take place at the bank’s upcoming International Women’s Day (IWD) Conference on March 28, 2025, highlighting the achievements of exceptional women across Africa.
The Power of 100 initiative is part of Access Bank’s ongoing efforts to support women who are driving change, breaking barriers, and creating opportunities. The honorees have made significant contributions in business, entrepreneurship, social development, and advocacy, aligning with this year’s IWD theme, Accelerate Action.
Speaking ahead of the event, Access Bank’s Deputy Managing Director, Chizoma Okoli, expressed excitement, stating, “At Access Bank, we believe in the power of women to drive progress and transformation in society. The Power of 100 awardees represent trailblazers whose resilience, passion, and dedication inspire the next generation of female leaders.”
Nene Kunle-Ogunlusi, Head of Women Banking, confirmed that the conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and an awards ceremony to highlight the accomplishments of the Power of 100 recipients.
She emphasized that the event will serve as a platform for discussions on gender inclusion, leadership, and economic empowerment. “The Bank remains committed to promoting initiatives that create an enabling environment for women to thrive,” she added.
