Adeleke Celebrates Muslims on Ramadan Completion

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated Muslims in the state and beyond on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting. He described the 29-day fast as a divine blessing and an opportunity for spiritual renewal.

In a goodwill message, Adeleke praised Muslim faithful for their dedication and the ease with which they observed one of Islam’s core pillars. He urged them to sustain the culture of giving and selflessness practiced during the holy month.

The governor also encouraged residents of Osun to use the Eid-el-Fitr celebration as a time for prayer, seeking peace and development for both the state and Nigeria. He warned against political actors attempting to create chaos, urging the people to resist their influence.

Adeleke reassured the people that despite the actions of selfish politicians trying to disrupt progress, his administration remains committed to moving the state forward. He called on residents to maintain faith and trust in God’s power.

“In praise to Allah, I rejoice with Osun Muslims for the grace of witnessing the conclusion of this year’s Holy Month of Ramadan,” Adeleke stated. “While we celebrate, it is important to uphold the values of charity, peace, and selflessness that the month teaches.”

The governor also encouraged a modest and meaningful celebration, urging well-off individuals to extend kindness to those struggling. “We must spread the joy of Eid to every home, following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad,” he added.
