The 2025 African Women’s Volleyball Inter-Club Championship kicks off today in Abuja, bringing together top teams from across the continent for a thrilling display of skill and competition.
Host team Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) will compete against strong contenders, including Egypt’s Al Ahly Sporting Club and Zamalek Sporting Club. The Democratic Republic of Congo is also well represented, with Volleyball Club La Grace and Volleyball Club La LOI eager to make an impact.
Other teams vying for glory include AS Douanes from Burundi, Senegal’s Sococim, and Ethiopia’s National Alcohol and Liquor Factory. East African powerhouses like Rwanda Revenue Authority Volleyball Club and Kenya Pipeline Company Volleyball Club add to the tournament’s intensity.
Cote D’Ivoire, Botswana, Benin Republic, and Tunisia are also in the mix, making this year’s championship a true celebration of African volleyball talent.
