By Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, officially swore in his cabinet members on Thursday, emphasizing that his administration is fully committed to delivering quick and effective governance for the people of the state.
Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Aiyedatiwa made it clear that his team has no time to waste. “We are in a hurry to fulfil the promises we made during the campaign,” he declared, urging his appointees to hit the ground running.
The swearing-in event, held at the state capital, saw both newly appointed officials and some reappointed members take their oath of office, signaling the full activation of the state’s executive council.
Governor Aiyedatiwa challenged the cabinet to see their roles as a call to service rather than just political appointments. He stressed the need for immediate action, urging them to focus on programs that would directly benefit the people.
He also reminded them that the people of Ondo are expecting visible changes in governance, and his administration cannot afford to fail. “We must work with urgency and deliver real results,” he added.
With the new team in place, Governor Aiyedatiwa promised that his government would prioritize infrastructure, economic growth, education, and healthcare to make life better for every resident of Ondo State.
