Alhaji Ibrahim Zakari Sarina, the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, has been named the new commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) for Kano State. He takes over from Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, who was recently appointed Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development by President Bola Tinubu.
Ata served as the PCC commissioner for Kano from July to October 2024 before his ministerial appointment. Sarina’s new role was announced during a Senate plenary session by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The appointment highlights ongoing changes in key government positions as the administration reshuffles its team.
