Lookman has been out of action since last month after suffering a knee injury during training, forcing him to miss six games across all competitions.
The 27-year-old returned to full training with the squad on Sunday, marking a significant step in his recovery. He also trained again on Monday, increasing hopes of his availability.
According to Gazetta dello Sport, Lookman is expected to be in contention for the crucial match on Tuesday.
So far this season, the winger has been in fine form, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists in 24 appearances for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
Atalanta will need a strong performance to overturn their 2-1 first-leg deficit and secure a spot in the Round of 16.
