By Governor Bala Mohammed’s political future, vowing to back any candidate he endorses for the 2027 elections — including the governorship seat and other key positions.
The group, operating under the banner of the Bauchi State Coalition of Christian Youths and Elders in Politics, made their position clear during a press conference held in Bauchi yesterday.
Speaking on behalf of the coalition, chairman Joel Joshua and secretary Danladi Audu praised Governor Mohammed for his inclusive leadership, describing him as a “Christian-friendly, multi-religious, and multi-ethnic leader” who governs with fairness.
The coalition didn’t stop at state politics. They also joined growing voices urging Bala Mohammed to step onto the national stage by contesting for Nigeria’s presidency in 2027.
“We wish to add our voice to the numerous calls urging Governor Bala Mohammed to run for president in 2027. He is one of the few capable leaders who can salvage Nigeria from its socio-economic and security challenges. Our prayers and support are assured,” the coalition stated.
The group promised to mobilize Christian communities across Bauchi and beyond, ensuring Bala Mohammed enjoys broad support if he decides to pursue the presidency.
