By David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially announced that his White Wedding with Chioma Rowland-Adeleke will take place in August 2025.
The announcement comes 10 months after their lavish traditional wedding, which was held at Eko Hotels, Lagos, in June 2024. The event was attended by top celebrities and dignitaries.
Speaking in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Davido confirmed that the much-anticipated ceremony will be held in Miami, USA. “I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year,” he stated.
The singer reflected on their traditional marriage, noting its massive impact in Nigeria. “Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child,” he said.
Fans and well-wishers have since taken to social media to express excitement over the upcoming event, which is expected to be another high-profile celebration.
Davido and Chioma’s love story has remained in the spotlight over the years, with their union drawing admiration from fans both in Nigeria and abroad.
