Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, have commended President Bola Tinubu for initiating repairs on the long-damaged Benin-Sapele-Warri Road, a vital route for economic activities in Edo and Delta States.
During an inspection of the over 30-kilometer stretch alongside contractors, Okpebholo expressed satisfaction with the progress and assured residents that the state government would continue monitoring the project to ensure its timely completion.
Hailing Tinubu’s commitment to infrastructure development, the governor declared, “Edo is now developing like Lagos. The president is delivering on his promises, and we are confident he will complete this road in record time.”
