By Uba Sani, has credited his inclusive leadership for the recent defection of former Governor Ramalan Yero, Senator Shehu Sani, and other opposition figures to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking at a mega rally held at Murtala Muhammed Square in Kaduna over the weekend, Governor Sani assured the defectors that the APC remains a united political family.
He further promised that the 50 political stalwarts who joined the party would enjoy equal rights and privileges as every other APC member.
The defection marks a significant political shift in Kaduna, as key opposition figures align with the ruling party ahead of future elections.
However, Senator Lawal Usman of Kaduna Central mocked the event, accusing the APC of hiring a crowd for the rally and dismissing the party as “Papalolo.”
Despite the criticism, Governor Sani maintained that the APC’s growing influence in Kaduna is a result of its people-focused policies and governance.
