The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local industries as part of efforts to accelerate Nigeria’s industrial revolution. Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, John Enoh, gave this assurance during the Southwest leg of the nationwide Industrial Tour.
During his visit to select industries in Lagos and Ogun States, Enoh emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s readiness to provide the necessary support and incentives to address key challenges facing Nigerian industries.
Speaking at the Coleman Factory in Sagamu, Ogun State, the minister highlighted the government’s dedication to fostering industrial growth and strengthening local manufacturing.
He stressed the need for greater government intervention in supporting domestic industries, pointing out that ongoing policies are being finalized to protect and promote local manufacturers.
According to Enoh, the administration is focused on creating a business-friendly environment that will boost production, attract investments, and generate employment opportunities.
With industrialization being a key pillar of economic development, the minister assured stakeholders that the government remains committed to removing barriers and ensuring the sustainable growth of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
