First Lady Tinubu Lauded for Championing the Poor

Zainab Nda-Isaiah, has praised First Lady Senator Remi Tinubu for her dedicated service to Nigeria’s less-privileged, describing her as the “Mother of the Nation.”

Nda-Isaiah made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the First Lady at the State House, Abuja, accompanied by the media house’s leadership team.

According to the First Lady’s media aide, Busola Kukoyi, the chairman said Tinubu’s humanitarian footprint across the country deserves national recognition.

During the visit, Vice Chairman Mike Okpere briefed the First Lady on LEADERSHIP’s charity-driven partnership proposal aimed at empowering 1,000 individuals through skills development, with each mentee committed to uplifting four others, thereby reaching 2 million Nigerians.

“This project will equip participants with practical skills in sectors like tie and dye, fishing, and tailoring,” Okpere said, emphasizing the goal of economic self-sufficiency.

In response, Senator Tinubu welcomed the initiative, pledging collaboration with LEADERSHIP through her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and stressing the importance of collective efforts in nation-building.

“The government alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of uplifting lives—every Nigerian must play a part,” the First Lady noted.
