Globacom has intensified its nationwide network upgrade to enhance service quality for millions of customers.
The telecom giant stated that the current phase, launched last year, involves deploying new base transceiver stations and upgrading existing ones to improve high-speed data services.
Despite recent tariff hikes in the telecom sector, Globacom reaffirmed its commitment to providing world-class infrastructure and offering customers the most affordable voice and data rates. The upgrade covers all aspects of telecommunications infrastructure, including core networks, fiber optics, IP networks, and power systems.
In recent months, the company has successfully deployed hundreds of new transceiver stations across Lagos, Ogun, Nasarawa, Rivers, Edo, Delta, Cross River, Kaduna, Kano, and Abuja to ease network congestion and improve connectivity.
