By Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Friday inaugurated a newly built Antenatal Complex at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), dedicated to the memory of his late wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno.
Describing the initiative as a heartfelt Valentine’s gift from him and his family, Governor Eno emphasized that the project aligns with his late wife’s commitment to family welfare and maternal health. He highlighted her passion for community service, which inspired her to establish the Golden Initiative for All (GIFA).
The governor reiterated that the new facility complements his administration’s focus on reducing infant mortality and ensuring quality maternal care for pregnant women across the state.
