By Alfa Mohammed Ali Eyonbo Anabi, has recalled how the mother of Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, assured the people in 2019 that her son would deliver on his mandate—a promise he believes has now been fulfilled.
Speaking on Saturday, Anabi expressed delight that the governor’s performance has validated his mother’s confidence in him.
“The mother of the governor had during an interview with newsmen upon AbdulRazaq’s assumption of office in 2019 assured Kwarans that her son will perform. Mama said that she knows her son—though very quiet—but he will perform excellently well in office. The governor has proved his mother right,” he said.
The cleric commended AbdulRazaq for being a good child whose mother could vouch for and urged the people to appreciate his leadership.
Praise for AbdulRazaq’s Achievements
In his lecture, Alfa Amosa Asisoloriro from Okelele quarters of Ilorin lauded the governor for his monumental strides in infrastructural development, highlighting the peaceful coexistence among residents of Kwara State under his administration.
“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is doing his best. We should appreciate him. But definitely, history will be kind to him,” Asisoloriro stated.
He also urged market traders to avoid hoarding and price hikes, advising them to fear Allah and the Day of Judgment.
APC Chieftain Calls for Supporte
In a brief remark, Alhaji Usman Bibire Ajape, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), hailed Governor AbdulRazaq as a detribalized leader.
He emphasized the need for all well-meaning Kwarans, especially those in Ilorin, to offer the governor their maximum support as he continues to implement policies for the state’s progress.
