Kogi State to Train Healthcare Workers to Boost Medical Services

 

The Kogi State Government has announced plans to organize a special training program for frontline healthcare workers across the state. The initiative is a joint effort between the Kogi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, the State Ministry of Health, and other partners.

 

Dr. Abdulaziz Adams Adeiza, the State Commissioner of Health, revealed that the training is designed to improve the skills and efficiency of healthcare workers, ultimately strengthening the state’s healthcare system.

 

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, described as a health-focused leader, will officially launch the program on February 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. The event marks a significant step in the state’s efforts to enhance medical services and ensure better care for residents.

 

This training is part of the government’s commitment to building a stronger and more effective healthcare workforce in Kogi State.
