By Elder Eddington Kuejibola, chairman and proprietor of Ufuoma Babes Football Club, has praised the organisers of the annual Sportsville Special Recognition Awards for nominating Davidson Owumi and Barr. Chris Green for this year’s edition.
Owumi and Green have been shortlisted in the Achievers Category, a testament to their significant contributions to the development of football in Nigeria.
Kuejibola, who himself was a recipient of an award in the 2024 edition, expressed his admiration for their nominations, calling them well-deserved recognitions for their tireless efforts in Nigerian football.
“Honestly, these are well-deserved honours for two great Nigerians who have done more than enough for the upliftment of the great game in Nigeria,” Kuejibola stated. “I want to commend Sportsville for appreciating and rewarding excellence in these exceptional administrators.”
Owumi, a former international and current Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, has been instrumental in bringing stability and respect to the Nigerian league, further cementing his legacy in football administration.
