Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed confidence that his party will win the 2027 presidential election if the process is free and fair.
Speaking at the NNPP’s 8th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting at Bolingo Hotel, Abuja, Kwankwaso criticized the ruling APC, blaming it for worsening poverty and insecurity across the country.
He argued that Nigerians were experiencing unprecedented hardship, pointing to rising poverty levels, deteriorating infrastructure, and escalating insecurity, particularly in the northern region.
“The suffering of Nigerians today is unbearable,” Kwankwaso said. “People need to reflect on their struggles and consider giving NNPP a chance to lead.”
He urged party members to remain united and continue mobilizing grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.
