By Stakeholders from Kwara South have reiterated their loyalty to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, dismissing attempts by political figures to create tension between him and Senator Lola Ashiru, the Deputy Senate Leader.
Speaking after an interactive meeting convened by Senator Ashiru, community leader Omu-Iyadun Hammed emphasized that there was no conflict between the senator and the governor.
“Our governor, the chairman of Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum, has repeatedly shown unwavering support and leadership towards Senator Ashiru,” Hammed stated.
The stakeholders condemned what they described as efforts by “political opportunists” to sow division, reaffirming their commitment to unity within the party.
They praised Governor AbdulRazaq’s leadership and urged all party members to remain focused on the state’s development agenda.
The meeting ended with a call for continued collaboration between political leaders to ensure stability and progress in Kwara South.
