In a statement over the weekend, NARTO President, Alhaji Yusuf Lawal Othman, praised Ojulari’s appointment, describing him as “a seasoned industry player” capable of advancing the strides made by his predecessor, Mele Kyari.
The association also commended the newly constituted senior management team of NNPCL, which includes:

-
Olalekan Ogunleye, EVP, Gas, Power & New Energy
-
Udy Ntia, EVP, Upstream

Othman emphasized the need for the new leadership to sustain the functionality of the recently restarted national refineries, noting that NARTO thrives on petroleum product haulage.
“With Ojulari’s robust wealth of experience, it is glaring that President Tinubu made a befitting appointment to build on the present positive records of the NNPCL,” he stated.
Othman also called on the new NNPCL leadership to remain steadfast and innovative in navigating current global oil industry challenges, including low prices, output fluctuations, and infrastructure constraints.
NARTO pledged continued collaboration with NNPCL and expressed optimism for a strengthened, harmonious working relationship under Ojulari’s leadership.
