Nigeria celebrated its first-ever National Police Day on April 7 with a grand ceremony at Eagle Square, Abuja. The event brought together top security officials, dignitaries, and the public to honor the sacrifices and service of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).
The annual commemoration was institutionalized by President Bola Tinubu to recognize the courage and dedication of police officers nationwide.
The colorful ceremony featured a parade, award presentations, and operational displays, highlighting the force’s role in maintaining peace and order. Families of fallen officers, retired personnel, and active-duty officers were also present to mark the occasion.
