The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, confirmed on Friday that two infamous terrorist kingpins, Kachalla Gwammade and Kachalla Shehu, were killed in Zamfara State during a military operation on Thursday night. The operation, part of the ongoing *”Show No Mercy”* campaign, also resulted in the deaths of four of their fighters in Ruwan Dawa village, Maru Local Government Area.
General Musa, speaking at the closing ceremony of the CDS Joint Task Force Commanders Conference in Abuja, revealed that the successful operation has left wanted terrorist leader Bello Turji scrambling to escape as military pressure intensifies.
The elimination of these high-profile targets marks a significant victory in Nigeria’s fight against terrorism and banditry.
