By Hon. Aliyu Zakari Idris, has extended his condolences to Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Ummaru Bare Bare.
In a statement, Idris described Hajiya Safara’u as a pillar of strength to her family and a source of kindness and inspiration to many. He noted that her passing is not only a personal loss to the governor but also to the people of Katsina State, as she embodied love, wisdom, and guidance.
“Hajiya’s passing is a personal loss to His Excellency, his family, and the many lives she touched,” Idris said. “We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants her eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus and gives the family the strength to bear this great loss.”
The Youth Parliament Speaker also expressed solidarity with Governor Radda, his family, and the people of Katsina during this difficult time. He acknowledged Hajiya Safara’u’s legacy of compassion and service, which will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Her passing has drawn tributes from political, religious, and community leaders, all recognizing the positive impact she had on those around her. Many have described her as a woman of great character who dedicated her life to helping others.
“As the people of Katsina State mourn alongside their governor, prayers continue to be offered for the peaceful repose of her soul,” Idris added.
