Nnaji to Deliver 2025 Bullion Lecture

Professor Barth Nnaji, will deliver the 2025 edition of The Bullion Lecture, scheduled for April 10 at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Themed “Architecting the Energy Sector for Nigeria’s $1-Trillion Economy Vision,” the lecture will feature discussions on the future of Nigeria’s energy landscape. Nnaji, the founder of Geometric Power Limited, brings vast experience in energy policy and power sector reforms.

With an extensive background in academia and government, Nnaji has held key roles, including membership in the National Energy Council and leading Nigeria’s power sector privatization as Minister of Power from 2011 to 2012. His contributions to engineering have earned him multiple national and international awards.

The event, organized by the Centre for Financial Journalism, will have Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, as the special guest of honor. It will be chaired by Tolulope Longe, President of Women in Energy Oil and Gas (WEOG).

Panelists include Sir Victor Okoronkwo, Group Managing Director of Aiteo E&P, and Dr. Ogho Okiti, CEO of ThinkBusiness Africa. They will analyze Nnaji’s presentation and its implications for Nigeria’s economic and energy future.

Dignitaries from various sectors—including finance, ICT, academia, and the diplomatic community—are expected to attend, making it a significant gathering for energy and economic stakeholders.
