The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bashir Ajibola, has declared that the Aso Rock Presidential Villa is not up for grabs in 2027, insisting that President Bola Tinubu will seek re-election.
Ajibola made the statement in Ilorin, Kwara State, during an empowerment programme on agriculture and human capital development organized by Senator Saliu Mustapha, the lawmaker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District.
The APC scribe urged Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu’s administration and support his Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that the president’s policies on food security and economic recovery are already showing positive results.
“We want Nigerians to understand that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027,” Ajibola declared, stressing the importance of continuity to fully implement the administration’s reforms.
He also commended Senator Mustapha for his grassroots-focused empowerment initiatives, describing them as a complement to the federal government’s developmental agenda.
Ajibola’s remarks come as the ruling party intensifies efforts to strengthen its support base ahead of the next general elections.
