Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called on Nigerians, especially the youth, to actively contribute to nation-building to help Nigeria attain an enviable position globally.
Speaking on Wednesday, Obasanjo urged citizens who are yet to reach the age of 80 to brace up for the responsibilities of building a stronger, more prosperous nation.
“If we do it well, we will have an enviable Nigeria in our lifetime,” the former president emphasized, underscoring the importance of patriotism, innovation, and hard work in shaping the nation’s future.
Obasanjo’s call comes amid growing conversations on youth involvement in governance, economic development, and Nigeria’s repositioning on the global stage.
