OneData, a fibre-based broadband provider, has partnered with Caleb University to enhance campus connectivity and equip students with essential digital skills for a technology-driven world.
The partnership aligns with Caleb University’s vision of becoming a Centre of Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Excellence by integrating high-speed fibre internet across campus. This upgrade ensures seamless access to online learning platforms, research databases, and communication tools.
As part of the initiative, OneData is introducing “Digital and Entrepreneurial Hubs” to foster innovation, business acumen, and digital literacy. These hubs will serve as incubators for students to develop technological solutions and gain industry-ready skills.
“OneData is not just providing connectivity but empowering students with resources to lead in technology, media, and telecommunications,” said CEO Olawale Owoeye.
Vice Chancellor Professor Nosa Owens-Ibie hailed the initiative as a transformative step in modernizing education and fostering entrepreneurship among students.
OneData plans to expand this model nationwide, ensuring more universities benefit from reliable internet access and digital empowerment programs to drive Nigeria’s technological future.
