Langtang South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Nanfa Nbin, confirmed the incident in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr. Iliya Bako. The statement also revealed that the local emergency management committee, led by Deputy Chairman Hon. Julcit Musa, had visited the affected households to assess the damage.

The communities are now hoping for prompt assistance and relief from the government to help rebuild their homes and recover from the destruction caused by the windstorm.
