Para-Soccer Event Champions Inclusion

Dr. Krystal Chanchangi Foundation hosted a para-soccer tournament aimed at uplifting individuals with disabilities. The event, held at the basketball court of the Old Parade Ground in Area 10, Garki, Abuja, brought together two spirited teams competing for a cash prize.

The tournament wasn’t just about the game—it was a celebration of ability, resilience, and community. Music, dance, and awards for outstanding athletes added a festive touch, drawing a lively crowd of supporters and well-wishers to the venue.

“We are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities and promoting inclusivity through sports,” said Dr. Krystal Chanchangi, founder of the foundation. She expressed pride in the event’s success and encouraged continued support for people living with disabilities.

Dr. Chanchangi called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to get involved in giving back to society. “There is no better way to give back to society than by taking actions that help people realise their full potential,” she stated.

She stressed that small actions could make big impacts and challenged those abroad to contribute more actively. “We all have a part to play in our own small ways. It’s time for those of us abroad to return, give back, and uplift our people. Change doesn’t begin with policies—it begins with people,” she added.

The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to creating an inclusive society, where everyone—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to thrive. Dr. Chanchangi also revealed plans to collaborate with like-minded organisations to expand their reach and impact.
