By Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will reclaim the presidency from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.
Speaking at the launch of a Ramadan relief package in Sokoto, Tambuwal assured supporters that the PDP is actively restructuring and strategizing for victory. He stated, “By the grace of Allah, what was taken from us will be returned in 2027.”
As part of the event, PDP lawmakers at both state and national levels distributed thousands of bags of rice and essential grains to youth and women-led organizations to ease the burden of fasting.
Tambuwal also praised PDP leaders for their dedication, emphasizing that unity within the party is key to reclaiming power. He described the PDP as a “united family” and reiterated his belief that their mandate was “forcefully stolen” in the last election.
Sokoto State PDP Chairman, Bello Goronyo, echoed these sentiments, commending party members for their support. He criticized the APC’s governance, urging Nigerians to “liberate themselves” by voting PDP back into power in 2027.
Goronyo argued that the hardships Nigerians currently face were nonexistent under the PDP’s leadership, calling for renewed faith in the party’s ability to improve the country’s future.
