Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to any celebrity attempting to get involved with his wife, actress Ashabi Simple. He declared that anyone who tries it will face deadly consequences.
Portable’s outburst came after actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, also known as Baba Tee, admitted to having an affair with the wife of fellow actor Ijoba Lande, Darasimi. Expressing his disappointment, Portable shared a series of voice notes on his Instagram story, condemning Baba Tee’s actions and stating that he had lost all respect for him.
“Baba Tee, I really like you, but you shouldn’t be sleeping with other people’s wives,” Portable said. “You gave Lande’s wife doggy. Is that how you people behave in the movie industry? I swear to God, if anybody moves close to my wife, that person will die. My wife is an actress, and if I see anyone doing nonsense with her, the person will die.”
He continued, questioning why Baba Tee would engage in such an act, despite knowing the woman was married. “Normally, the person who sleeps with another man’s wife is not at fault, but why did you do it? Don’t you know it’s a dirty thing that brings setbacks? With all the women in the world, why go for someone else’s wife?”
Portable, however, urged Baba Tee to change his ways, warning that such behavior could lead to trouble. He reminded the actor of their friendship and said he didn’t want their relationship to turn into enmity over such issues.
He ended his message by criticizing the practice of using “Truth or Dare” games to lure married women into affairs. “Baba Tee, stop this, it’s not good,” he cautioned. “I’m telling you because I care about you. No matter what, the husband should be the one to caution his wife.”
