On Tuesday, the Senate approved the appointments of two individuals nominated by President Bola Tinubu to serve as Executive Commissioners in the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The approval came after the Senate reviewed the report from the Committee on Communications, which was presented by its chairman, Senator Aliyu Ikra Bilbis (Zamfara Central).
The two confirmed nominees are Rimini Haraya Makama, who will serve as the Executive Commissioner for Stakeholders Management, and Sunday Abraham Oshadami, who will take on the role of Executive Commissioner for Technical Services at the NCC.
Senator Bilbis reported that the nominees were carefully vetted by the committee and found to be fully qualified for their new positions.
